| If you're looking a little peaked from sitting in front of one too many slot machines, put some color back into your cheeks at the Westin. The hotel's secluded beachfront locale lets you bask in the sun or take a dip in the South China Sea. Golfers will opt to putt around on the 18-hole course next door at the Macau Golf & Country Club (there are allocated times for hotel guests) or tee off at the Oceanside driving range. But you Maria Sharapova types will be disappointed with the shabby tennis courts. Come evening time, drop off the little ones at the Westin's daycare facility, and check out the nightly complimentary port wine tasting and hear some fado, traditional Portuguese folk music. Afterward, retire to your room, which trades tedious tan shades that are ubiquitous in the other hotels for bursts of color, such as gold and green furniture, gold drapes and a dark orange wall covering. |
